Naturopathy

Traditional European Naturopathy (TEN) focuses on the person as a whole. A holistic picture of the patient is created through detailed anamnesis interviews, physical examinations and, if necessary, naturopathic diagnostic methods and laboratory.
Traditional European Naturopathy (TEN)
is a holistic approach to health promotion and healing that has its roots in traditional healing methods in Europe. This medical tradition is based on centuries of observation and use of natural remedies and therapies developed in various regions of Europe.
In TEN, the human body is regarded as a unity of body, mind and spirit. Health is seen as a state of balance and harmony between these elements. The main principles of TEN include:
- Natural Remedies: The TEN uses natural substances such as herbs, minerals, plant extracts, and nutrition to promote health and treat illnesses. These remedies are often given in the form of teas, tinctures, or ointments.
- Individualized treatment: Each person is considered unique in TEN, and treatments are tailored to the patient's individual needs and circumstances. This may include a thorough examination and an accurate medical history.
- Lifestyle and diet: A healthy lifestyle and a balanced diet are central elements of TEN. Promoting physical activity, adequate sleep, and a healthy diet is critical to maintaining health.
- Prevention and conservation: The TEN places a strong focus on preventing disease and maintaining health. This is done through regular health care, a healthy lifestyle and the prevention of harmful effects.
- Holistic approach: In TEN, the entire person is involved in the healing process, including their emotional and spiritual health. Promoting mental balance and emotional stability is an integral part of therapy.
Time, costs and deadlines
Time and costs
The estimated time required for the initial examination is approximately 2 hours. You should plan around 1 1/4 hours for follow-up appointments. The hourly rate is 120 CHF/h and is billed according to effective time spent.
Attention: Until I graduate as a naturopath (May 2025), health insurance only covers foot reflexology services. You can find more information about this here.
cancelling
I would like to point out to you that appointments at least 48 hours before the agreed appointment must be cancelled so that you do not incur any costs. Should a cancellation be made later, the costs will unfortunately be charged. Thank you for your understanding and I hope you take this into account so that I can make the best possible time schedule and use my resources effectively.
